After returning to the game on Rue De Plaisance in 2017, Brian Cavender has re-settled back into his unique seat at the house/groove axis. Here we find them looking back over his original works and reminding us, once again, why his contributions and creations have been so vital. Flipping and sliding between loose-limbed broken grooves such as the slinked-out wriggler "Hybrid" and the woozy "Thrill Ride", sub-aquatic downtempo soul like "Spinning Heads" and straight-up hip-swinging house cuts such as "Deaf Child", Seafoam's foundation cuts still sound ahead of their time to over 15-20 years later.
