Cell15 - River Utopia (2018)

Robert S Richardson is the keyboard player for "Hybrid Ice" and "The Badlees", two Pennsylvania based bands that have acheived a great deal of success for over 20 years. A multi-instrumentalist and record producer, Robert owns and operates After 7 Studios, Inc. in Mechanicsburg, PA. Robert also provides keyboard support for the "Legends of Rock" vacation packages since 2011, performing with the Jimi Jamison of "Survivor", Kevin Chalfant of "The Storm" and also filled the position of Steve Perry of "Journey", John Cafferty of "John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band" and Derek St Holmes of "Ted Nugent" to date.

Over the course of many years, miles and recording projects, Robert had always wanted to release a solo project that represented his life experience in the music profession. From the high points to the low points, his new project "Cell15" with the debute release of "Chapter One" is something that he just had to do. His love of progressive rock music and it's many styles, tempo and time signature changes was the challenge needed to further his career. "I just can't listen the radio anymore", says Robert, "Progressive rock is the classical music of today". "I find the dynamics and lyrical content of this style of music is something I can relate to rather than the mundane, cookie cutter music played on the radio today. I would hope that every music enthusiast would at least give it a listen. It sometimes takes me two or more listens to a CD of prog rock until I get it, but when I do, it becomes personal and becomes something that I can listen to over and over. I don't get this experience from regular radio", Robert said.
