Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of collaborations between singer, songwriter and producer Carla Olson and former Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor. This set couples the legendary Carla/Mick live at the Roxy album with a Carla studio set recorded 1 0 years later which features Mick on eight of the 11 tracks. Each disc has bonus tracks: Too Hot For Snakes adds another song that was recorded at the Roxy. And the studio disc includes a longer version of the instrumental 'After You've Gone' plus a Carla/Percy Sledge duet from an earlier Carla album, also with Mick on guitar. Also featured on the set are keyboardists Ian McLagan (Faces) and Barry Goldberg as well as John Sebastian on harmonica. Of particular interest are the elongated jam versions the Stones classics 'Sway' and 'Winter'. Each is twice as long as the Stones takes so Mick has plenty of room to solo and solo and solo.
