We have missed Victoria Bergsman for too long. On her first album since the Hawaii-inspired Other Worlds six years ago, her voice remains her combination of cautiousness and integrity, and it is even more effective when the surroundings like this become more Los Angeles-licked and elegant.

Vibrant Colors is a warm and timeless pop with an airy Compass Point sound that matches the classic Tom Tom Club. Then it continues with a delicate balance of stylish modern pop in space and rhythm. Wait is amazingly nice Sade reggae, and the club's most playful song, Man Enough, is just as attractive even for those who do not frequent the clubs.
