In the words of Andy Clark – ‘The Call Of The Void is the urge you may get to jump from a high place, or drive your car into a tree, or jump in front of an oncoming train. Individuals who report experiencing the phenomenon are not necessarily suicidal; rather, they may hear internal cues, and they actually affirm the will to live. I also interpret it as the will to do what you are not supposed to do, or to be different. So I have tried.’

Andy Clark returns to Bass Agenda for a second release, this time a full length album on strictly limited CD featuring his own photography from Abandon Normal Devices (AND 2017) which featured artist Waterlicht (a large-scale digital installation by Dutch Designer, Daan Roosegaarde with International Design and Innovation Studio Roosegaarde.)

The Call Of The Void takes us further into the sonic dimension Andy opened up with 2015’s ‘Oscillating Devices’. 10 tracks (9 on the digital release)of energy spilling out in the form of soaring synths, forever rising atmospherics, all at high BPM rhythms. His eclectic influences are all melded together here in what can only be described as a journey of epic proportions; lifting the listener beyond familiar consciousness territories within a minute of hitting play and keeping them there for the duration.
