Tracklist
1. I Thought You Might Take Me to the Deep Blue Sky (30:59)
2. The Way Light Reflects off a Cobweb (30:22)
We’re really proud to present a “spiritual successor” of the music released on Before We Lost Ourselves [CZSZ002], two years after releasing the first part of this ephemral series. M/M aka Michael McGregor prepared two half-hour long pieces shaped from blurry, hazzy, not fully formed dreams which we duplicated straight on the tape. Two compositions on „I Know You Are Thinking I’ve Said This All Before” were recorded a year apart, in the same place both during snow storms, after Christmas but before New Year. They are connected in a systematic way, they are also impacted by life lived in those 365 days. They’re like a time capsule recovered from oblivion.
New M/M tracks are a little brighter, and maybe even hopeful, albeit moody and decayed at the same time. A perfect soundtrack for the end of winter/beggining of spring. Take your Walkman with you and go to the river bank to watch drifting ice floes.
