Nubuk - Les grands espaces (2018)

“NUBUK” is Eric François’s solo project. For many years, Eric has
been known for his work as a bassist and guitarist in various rock/pop
outfits and is also the founding member of electro rock duo “Projet
Nubuk”.

His solo project is a very personal journey with Eric
controlling and programming synthesisers and sequencers to create an
electronic/cinematic/ambient mood. Eric focuses primarily on slow tempos
and the powerful repetition of dark and melancholy evolving melodies
that brings the music alive but lends itself to reflection and escapism.

Composed and recorded between late 2017 and early 2018, his first album
“Les Grandes Espaces” aims to offer listeners genuine, sincere and
spontaneous music. Thus, each track has been recorded “live”,
allowing the analog synthesisers to bring an organic quality to the
recording.
