Brothers Reed - Three (2018)

The album, appropriately named “Three” is the third studio offering from the Brothers Reed since their debut, “Sick As Folk,” was released in April, 2018. Tracked at multiple locations on the west coast, the record is a full band production with Matthew Kriemelmann (drums) and T.J. Eilers (bass) coming on board to provide the needed punch to make the more soaring tracks come across.
For the second time Nancy Martin has been kind enough to provide her cello skills on "Caroline" and T-Poe Varnado lent his hauntingly rich voice to us on "Hoedown In Heaven" and on an original poem for track 11.
The Brothers breathe heavy influences of honky-tonk, 90’s grunge, bluegrass, and 70’s rock, into heart-fully crafted folk songs with instrumental elements ranging from hip-hop to reggae and back to rock and country. All in all, there is something for everyone on this album.
