Veteran singer/songwriters Erik Kjelland (of The Mascot Theory) and Beth Kille teamed up in 2014 to release North Star Sessions, an album of original holiday-themed music. After receiving rave reviews and nabbing Unique Song and Album of the Year honors at the 2015 MAMA Awards for this effort, the duo decided to don the band name Kerosene Kites and embark upon the creation of another holiday themed project.
