Ben Gibbard - Bandwagonesque (2017) FLAC

When discussing Death Cab for Cutie as well as his own solo music, frontman Ben Gibbard is quick to cite Teenage Fanclub as one of his major inspirations. He mentioned the Scottish alt rock greats in a 2012 interview regarding his debut solo album, Former Lives; and while promoting the record at KCRW the following year, Gibbard even covered the band’s Catholic Education cut “Everything Flows”.

Next year, Gibbard will take his love for Teenage Fanclub to the next level: He’ll be covering the band’s third album, 1991’s Bandwagonesque, in its entirety. The forthcoming project is part of Turntable Kitchen’s SOUNDS DELICIOUS vinyl subscription series. Pre-orders have already begun here.
