One year ago I fell in love with a girl who simultaneously fell out of love with me, all as I was about to finish college with no idea what the hell I'm doing. As I assessed the damage and continue to assess the damage in the wake of graduation, these songs came out of me one by one like shrapnel. In succession, they're just about as hollow, vulnerable, and insecure sonically as I am emotionally now- yet at close they look with optimism to resolve, just as I expect to someday soon.
