LaBrassBanda - Around the World (2017)

3 -2 -1 ignition. It pops and thunder, take off. Seven men cling to their instruments and push their bare feet into the ground while pushing the thrust deep into the seats. The eyes tightly closed, the facial expression concentrated tense, yet confident. LaBrassBanda are ready to circumnavigate the world.
What began in 2007 as a musical revolution in Bavaria, which shook local traditions, but at the same time brought youths to brass-making music in crowds before the stages and into the clubs, captured the entire Federal Republic by the German preliminary decision on the Eurovision Songcontest. There followed sold-out concert halls from Berlin to Cologne, from Hamburg to Munich. Possible language barriers for texts in Bavarian dialect: misrepresentation. The largest festival platforms at the u.a. Southside or Hurricane Festival were formally overwhelmed by fans when the band around frontman Stefan Dettl, with their rousing sound of brass pop, hip hop, punk and techno, even brought the afterthimmel to glow. LaBrassBanda is a live-bank, which was fast-paced all over Europe: in 2014 all the musicians who were studying were touring all over the UK in the nightliner, and are now the Sziget in Hungary, Europe's largest festival, a more than established size, the stage in the main program with u.a. Robbie Williams shares. And so it is almost logical that with more than 1000 live shows and more than 3 million views of the ESC single Nackert on youtube now also the albums Habediehre and Europe just before the gilding stand. Where barefoot brasswinds in leather pants and T-shirts were laughed a few years ago, this is now regarded as the hallmark of a unique band, which is at the highest level of inspiring people with their music and taking it with them, whether in Bavaria, Germany or Europe.
To Europe comes Around The World correspondingly high are the own requirements to the new studio album after 4 years. And so in 2016 with almost a few exceptions live was almost completely paused, in order to concentrate completely on the songwriting and the production in the now own studio. Peter Schmidt (including SEEED, Peter Fox) was brought into the boat for the single mixing and shortly the album master at Sterling Sounds in New York (among other things Adele) created. The result is 11 strong songs with which LaBrassBanda will now go from 9.01.17 to an almost 6-week world tour, before March 3, the new album Around The World will be released, and one day later the great anniversary with a 10 years LaBrassBanda Show is celebrated in the Olympiahalle Munich.

The tension from the start has completely disappeared from the faces. The eyes open, they signal great anticipation. The video turnaround for the first single, India Explosion (building car), in which the 7-man band performs the exploration of new countries and cultures in a rocket-powered van, was already a first taste of what LaBrassBanda experienced on their Around The World tour become. With this group and with the strong album in the luggage it can actually start immediately.
