Worldly Women was part of the World Beat festival at the Brisbane Powerhouse 2 March 2003. Fatima was the show’s creative producer and coordinator.
Worldly Women was about a group of Australian female artists bringing together music, songs, dance and histories from Africa, The Americas, Asia and Europe. It was about sharing, understanding and developing a musical taste for Brazilian Jazz, Samba, Gypsy music and West African rhythms among others.
