Van Bellen - Nightfall EP (2014)

Cosmic Elements welcomes Swiss based German legend Van Bellen to the label with 'Nightfall EP', which comprises two classy chilled out balearic Cafe Del Mar style tracks alongside a remix from Bjorn Rohde.

Van Bellen will be more familiar within the realms of progressive house, trance and techno since beginning his production career back in the early 1990s. His track 'Pushin Too Hard' under the 'Saints & Sinners' alias was heavily supported by Sasha, John Digweed & Paul Oakenfold, being released on Digweed's Bedrock label back in 2000 and went on to have several re-releases. But that's just the tip of the iceberg; Van Bellen has remixed the likes of Swayzak, Nalin & Kane, Blank & Jones, Marc et Claude and countless others; featured on labels such as Columbia Records, Sony, Bedrock, Bonzai, Platipus & Positiva and last but not least featured on compilations such as Sasha & Digweed's Northern Exposure, Sasha's San Francisco Global Underground and Armin Van Buuren's A State Of Trance. His atmospheric sound and consistency have made him a household name and much in demand remixer, with Nightfall EP showcasing another side to his production talent.

Bjorn Rohde is no stranger to atmospheric sounds either, with several chill out and deep atmospheric techno tracks having been released on the likes of Wasabi Recs, Spaceal Orbeats and Dewtone Recordings.
