Led to Sea - The Beautiful Humming of Ms. Fortune (2015)

We could not be more excited to stream the newest album from Led To Sea a week before release. The solo project of Seattle’s Alex Guy, who is a trained classical violinist, has the fusion of pop and orchestral sounds that have the ability to captivate time and time again. The beautiful humming of ms. fortune combines the classical leanings of Guy with the more traditional pop of collaborator Jherek Biscoff, who has previously worked with artists like Amanda Palmer and David Byrne. While the whole album maintains that incredible balance between lushly complicated and accessible in composition, it’s Guy’s sweetly sincere voice that ties the whole thing together, creating a strong and immediately satisfying album.
