Offshore - Offshore (2015)

Following releases by Wiley, Roots Manuva, Diplo and Kate Temptest, the Big Dada label now put out Offshore's second album, which follows 2012's Bake House. The fifteen-track missive delivers a flowering range of styles, from instrumental house similar to a Comome fare alongside grungier, funked up and jangley guitar tracks like "Step Forward". The album covers a lot of ground and there's various moods to be had, like the happy-go-lucky saunter of "Bardenas Burdern" or the slightly oriental themed, deconstructed album opener "J Bouncey". A fun album full of interesting musical fusions.
