All Saints Records will release a two-disc compilation called Greater Lengths that showcases original material from its core artists alongside a clutch of recent remixes.
Greater Lengths is split into two discs: the first, titled Originals, brings together original compositions from All Saints affiliates—Brian Eno, Harold Budd, Jon Hassell and John Cale among them—while the second, Re-Works, collects 13 remixes from contemporary fringe artists like Hieroglyphic Being, Gavin Russom, Sun Araw, Peaking Lights, Bee Mask, Bandshell, Motion Sickness Of Time Travel and Warp affiliate patten.
In addition to the compilation, a run of vinyl samplers will be released in June. These will divide up the remixes along the lines of the original composers, with 12-inches devoted to Harold Budd, Laraaji, Jon Hassell and Roedelius.
All Saints will also release Jon Hassell's City: Works Of Fiction on June 3rd. The triple-disc and triple-vinyl offering features two discs of original material alongside remixes from patten, Bass Clef and 808 State among others.
The experimental label was label founded by Dominic Norman-Taylor in 1991, initially as a kind of companion to Brian Eno's Opal imprint before Opal closed in 1993.
