Rivière Noire is a world music trio consisting of Orlando Morais (vocals and composition ), Pascal Danae (vocals and guitar) and Jean Lamoot (bass and artistic achievement ) .

Orlando Morais was born in 1962 in Goiânia , Brazil. He began his musical training on the piano at the age of four years before turning to singing . He released his first album in 1990. Meeting a great success in his home country , he became in the 2000s the Brazilian singer most programmed radio. Pascal Danae , from Guadeloupe French origin, was born in 1979 in Noisy- le-Sec. Holds a degree in musicology , he moved to London to perfect he released his first folk album in 2007. He has collaborated with such Gilberto Gil, Peter Gabriel , Manu Katché and Laurent Voulzy . Lamoot Jean was born in Britain. He grew up in Africa and became a DJ on his return to France .
